In 2011, Richelle D. Stannard established “LA Home Staging and Design” where she is the Owner and Principal Home Stager/Re-Design Specialist. From as early as age 7, Richelle was fascinated by design and architecture. She would draw her own makeshift “design boards” on a piece of paper where she would square off rooms as well as cutting out furniture and décor images from her mother’s catalogs and strategically placing them in a cardboard box that served as a dollhouse for her Barbie’s.
She became captivated by the home staging & re-design Industry since witnessing the emotional impact of buyers falling in love with an inviting, clean, organized and cozy home. In this case, it was her 6 years of experience working as a Loan Officer for a Broker, Countrywide Home Loans & after the merger, Bank of America. She would assist Real Estate Agents with their open houses by not only being present for Loan Financing but, also offering the value of helping the Agent spruce up their Listing by offering staging, décor & material selection and renovation suggestions prior to showing. This experience exposed Richelle to the immeasurable value of home staging and how it evokes emotion from potential buyers as they see their forever home for the first time. It represents the evolution of her passion for Real Estate.
While her specialty is Staging Properties for Real Estate Sales & Redesign for Living, she also provides, Office & Lobby Design, Airbnb Design and an array of Redesign and Staging Selection Services for any materials needed to build a home innovatively from the ground up. Her impeccable attention to detail and a keen eye for symmetry, balance, scale, proportion and color inspire quick sales so sellers can move onto the next chapter of their lives. With her unyielding passion for visual merchandising, innovative creativity and overall results, she can freely express through design any mood, intention, scene or lifestyle above and beyond expectations.
Over the years, Richelle has had the opportunity to cultivate her talents and creativity while residing in New York, Virginia, El Centro, CA, Atlanta, GA, San Diego, CA and for the last 16 years; Los Angeles, CA. In 2012, Richelle was recruited to be a Professional Designer Talent for Demand Studios on homeguides.sfgate.com with instructional DIY videos relating to interior design. Since owning LA Home Staging and Design, she has personally Staged and Re-Designed over 450 projects in Los Angeles County, Orange County and San Bernardino County for both commercial and residential spaces.
